Dreams really can come true...
I am beyond excited to start this blog and to share with you my new book, coming out tomorrow if all goes well. Obediently Yours is a labor of love that have worked on for well over a year. During one of the more dark times in my life, I needed a focus. I was looking through my files and found a bunch of short stories I had written over the years. With no expectations of publishing, I started to string some of those stories together and then expand on them. The words just flowed out of me as Siobhan told her story through me. In the end this book was written. With hesitance, I sent the first chapters to the publishers at Stormy Night Publications and they agreed to publish. Over many months of delays, lack of inspiration, and just plain craziness in my life, I finally finished the draft of the book and then the editing and here we are today. It is the eve of publication and I am beyond thrilled. All I can say is, dreams really can come true.
